B2B outbound benchmarks for 2026

Reply rates, meeting rates, and what 'good' actually looks like.

Everyone wants a benchmark to grade themselves against, but raw reply-rate numbers hide more than they reveal. A 2% reply rate on a scraped list of 50,000 and a 12% reply rate on a signal-based list of 500 can produce the same number of meetings — with wildly different downstream conversion.

The metrics worth tracking move down the funnel: positive-reply rate, reply-to-meeting rate, and meeting-to-opportunity rate. Coverage matters too — what share of your target accounts have you actually reached, and how many times? Vanity volume metrics tell you how busy you were, not how much pipeline you built.

Use benchmarks as a direction, not a verdict. If your positive-reply rate is climbing week over week as you tune copy and targeting, you're winning regardless of where you started. The programs that compound are the ones measured against their own last month, not a blog post's average.
